Paul Cables joined Oxford Properties in 2023. He is focused on expanding Oxford’s presence in Eastern North Carolina, Virginia, and Maryland, and he is responsible for all activities from the project’s inception through final disposition including site selection, acquisition, due diligence, entitlement, permitting, and the complete execution of development plans. 

Paul has accumulated 25 years of extensive and diverse experience in both residential and commercial real estate. He held various roles with institutional owners, primarily focusing on developing and managing multifamily portfolios. Previously, he started and ran a residential construction company called SanctuaryHomesATL, where he had full responsibility for building and renovating houses.  Paul also spent several years working with Jamestown Properties as well as a couple of years with Westplan Investors.

Paul holds a B.S. in Business and an MBA from The University of Alabama. He began his career in banking at the predecessor to Regions Bank, where he developed an interest in commercial real estate finance. He went on to earn a CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation.

Paul is an active member of First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta, an Eagle Scout, and enjoys spending time with family and friends. He and his wife Denise reside in Buckhead and have two children, Quinton and Anna-Claire. He has a passion for travel, the outdoors and is an audio enthusiast.
