David began working with the Development Team at Oxford Properties, LLC in 2021. He is responsible for all development activities in the Tennessee Market, including site selection and acquisition, due diligence, entitlement and permitting, rezoning, construction, and lease up. While at Oxford, David has been a part of two developments, Mainstead at Century Farms and Avant at Midlothian. 

Prior to joining Oxford, he worked as an architect with a local architectural firm for over 5 years, where he specialized in new mixed-use, multifamily, TOD, senior living, and affordable housing communities. During this time, he was an active member in ULI and served on ULI Atlanta’s Technical Assistance Panel Committee from 2018 to 2020. In 2019 he was selected for the ULI Young Leaders Group Mentorship program.

 David is an Atlanta native. He holds a Master of Real Estate Development degree from Clemson University where he was the recipient of the 2020 Advancement Board for Real Estate Development Fellowship, and the 2021 Harry H. Frampton III Award for outstanding scholarship and promise of professional excellence in the areas of land stewardship and sustainable communities. He also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture from the Savannah College of Art and Design. 

 On the weekends he and his wife, Virginia, enjoy playing fetch with their golden retriever, Bryant.
